Awareness Programme on Health and Sanitation for Girls.

Women Empowerment Cell, conducted an awareness programme on Health and Sanitation for girls, female students and staff of the college participated in the event. Health advisor from Health Care Company Kulgam Uzma Jan deliberated upon the proper health and sanitation during monthly cycles and emphasized the use of cotton sanitary pads instead of polythene sanitary pads. Research has shown that non- cottony sanitary pads leads to various health issues like UTI’s, PCOD’s etc.
