Drug-de-addiction Cell and Sports Committee of Altaf Memorial Government Degree College, Kilam

organised an open air lecture on the theme “The importance of Sports and Games for the Prevention

of Drug Abuse” in the playground of the college campus. The lecture was delivered by the physical

training instructor of the college Mr. Sikander Yakoob in which he deliberated that the Sports and the

games are important for all round development of youth and argued that all forms of education are

incomplete without the proper participation in games.
